Because water changes everything. Without it, women and children must walk for hours each day to gather water for their families, leaving them no time for school or work. Hospitals can’t provide essential care. Communities can’t grow.

And yet, 1 in 10 people on Earth don’t have clean water. This is a fixable problem and creators like you can lead the way in helping to solve it.

You’re not just supporting a cause. You’re helping change the trajectory of real people’s lives, and showing what’s possible when creators unite and use their platforms to turbocharge meaningful change.

#TeamWater brings together creators of all sizes - from mega-creators like Kai Cenat, Michelle Khare, Zach King, DudePerfect, JerryRigEverything, Pierson, Cleo Abram, Alan's Universe, Gordon Ramsay, and Hank Green, to creators just starting out. Every voice matters and every community can make a difference.

Hundreds of creators are already onboard and more are joining the team every day, across languages, platforms and geographies. #TeamWater creators already span 21 countries and 6 continents. Does anyone know a creator in Antarctica?!

When we come together, we can accomplish something bigger than any one of us could alone - that's the power of #TeamWater.

Yes. The goal is for you to participate in whatever way works best for your content and community, while helping us reach that $40 million goal together. If you have specific questions, give us a shout.

Because the situation is urgent but solvable.
Climate change is making clean water harder to access. Droughts are drying up water sources. Floods are contaminating pipes and wells.

But here’s the good news: with smart systems and real support, we can get ahead of this. You can help lead that charge.

WaterAid is one of the most trusted water organizations in the world. Founded by engineers, they have a 4-star Charity Navigator rating and the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar.

They’ve been working at this for 40+ years, with operations in 30+ countries. They don’t do quick fixes, they work alongside communities to build long-term sustainable systems with local partners that actually deliver.

Straight to the work. All #TeamWater donations go directly to WaterAid and our charitable partners.

Not just wells. Not just bottles. This is building long-lasting infrastructure with the communities:

  • Piped water systems for homes, schools and health centers
  • Solar-powered pumps so communities can access groundwater without relying on electricity
  • Rainwater harvesting which collects and stores rainwater in tanks or reservoirs and provides a reliable water source, especially in areas with seasonal rainfall
  • Water filters and filtration systems ensuring safe drinking water
  • Mobile water-quality labs and remote sensors
  • Community training so locals can maintain the systems

#TeamWater will work across 5 continents to deliver clean water to communities.

From the deserts of Colombia to the mangrove forests of Bangladesh, projects will range from piped connections to homes, gravity-fed water systems on mountainsides, solar-powered wells, desalination systems, rainwater harvesting and more.

The work will be carried out in partnership with local communities, governments, partners and a whole host of people critical to delivering a sustainable supply of clean water.

While it won’t be the only approach, a particular focus of #TeamWater’s portfolio will be fast-growing megacities in Like Lagos, Nigeria that allow us to reach a lot of people at once.

We will also work in some of the world’s hardest to reach rural places. WaterAid will identify the right solutions for each community’s needs. Where you live should not determine whether you get clean, life-saving water or not. This crisis is solvable. We have the knowledge, the ability and the determination. Now we need you.

The usual cost to bring clean water to one person varies widely around the world, from $10 to $150 per person.

For #TeamWater, we worked with the experts at WaterAid to design a cost-effective and multi-faceted program that can reach two million people at an average of $20 per person for at least two decades (20+ years).

With our model, that’s roughly $1 per year per person reached. This is because we are mainly (but not exclusively) working in large urban areas where the cost to reach each person is much lower.

Wells aren't always the right answer. Household wells don’t reach people at scale, and well water can be contaminated by waste.

In cities, we’re working on large-scale piped systems that will meet the demand of growing populations.

Wells can work in rural areas, but they often fail when they aren’t maintained. Around 30–40% of rural water systems break down and stay broken.

Not really. Boiling helps kill bacteria but:

  • It doesn’t remove heavy metals or chemicals
  • It’s time-consuming and burns fuel most families can’t spare
  • And boiled water can still get re-contaminated during storage

Boiling water costs time, wood or charcoal, and releases more than a ton of CO₂ per household per year.

It also contributes to deforestation, air pollution, and household costs. Because of this, many people don’t boil water, putting their health at risk.

Dirty water = big problems fast.

We’re talking cholera, typhoid, dysentery — diseases that spread like wildfire when people don’t have access to clean water. Clean water means fewer sick children, fewer missed school days, and stronger, healthier communities.

Bottom line: clean water saves lives. For many this is life-or-death, and you can help fix it.

Yes! #TeamWater is working with the communities and supporting them to manage and sustain projects independently.

WaterAid partners with local governments, trains people on maintenance, and builds systems that locals own and operate.

This is about collaboration. The people we’re supporting are the heroes of their own stories and we’re here to help amplify them. We’ll be on one #team, together.

We're teaming up to change millions of lives with clean water!
